I have always loved kids and saw myself as a parent someday. I was a frequent babysitter as a teenager and today have many kids in my life who I adore spending time with, including my 4-year-old niece. I really enjoy learning about and getting to know people -- this has led me to a career designing technology that makes life better for all. I currently work for a company that creates websites and applications that improve equity and access to critical government services. I stay active in our community supporting justice causes dear to my heart. In my free time I cook, bake, exercise, paint, craft, and take on house and landscaping projects.

I'm a positive and empathetic person who loves my wife, my dogs, and educating others as a form of seeking justice. I've been a Special Education teacher since 2009, but I'm currently on leave because I'm President of my teachers' Union -- fighting for better schools for children and protecting the rights of all workers. I'm involved in a lot of local justice causes and try to work every day to make our community a little more safe and supportive for all people. In my downtime, I like traveling and spending time with friends and family.
