Birth mom looking to place her 11-month-old baby boy. Below is the summary from the agency for your review.

She is looking for an African-American or interracial couple. She prefers there to be a stay-at-home parent with no more than 1 other kid in the home. She is open to single moms also. She wants a family that has some sort of religious background and believes in God. She prefers someone on the West Coast but is also open to the East Coast.
The agency can’t work with NY or NJ.

M is 11 months old, he will be 1 towards the end of November. He is a happy and healthy baby. Currently breastfed so very “stocky”. He has brown eyes and curly brown hair. He can walk but doesn’t walk outside with shoes yet, only inside and barefoot. he loves to dance to music. He likes to be read to and is starting to say little phrases.
He’s learning English & Arabic.
He cosleeps and doesn’t like to wake up alone.
He was 9lbs 4 oz at birth and up to date on all vaccines except his 1-year vaccines. He has no health issues.

Mom is a 29-year-old African American woman. She has dark brown skin, brown eyes, and curly brown hair. She is a stay-at-home mom and student. This is her third child, her previous two have been placed for adoption through this agency.
She says excited about making an adoption plan. She has “matured spiritually” over the past year and feels that adoption is best for him.

The health history form shows no medical concerns. The only things noted are hemophilia on her mom’s side, a cousin with ADD/ADHD, and a cousin with schizophrenia.

Bio dad is not involved. He is not on the birth certificate, she doesn’t know where he is.

She wants a very open adoption. She would like regular Facetime/video calls and at least one annual visit. She wants to make the the adoptive parents don’t “downplay their connection”
