FLORIDA EM
-
An expectant mom in Florida is looking to place her baby for adoption.
-
The agency only works with traditional/heterosexual couples but is open to single moms. She is open to both full African-American and interracial couples.
Her top preference is hopeful parents who already have a child. She prefers a Florida family but is open to the South East. During pregnancy, she would like to communicate with HAPs through calls and visits (Zoom if not local)
She is drawn to HAPs that will push them to be who they want to be instead of who their parents want them to be.
She wants HAPs at the hospital.
One of the agency requirements is that HAPs “love Jesus” since they are a faith-based organization.

The baby is a biracial, Black & Hispanic, boy due December 18. The baby is healthy confirmed by genetic screening.
She is getting regular prenatal care and would like to pick a name you could use as his first or middle name.

EF is Hispanic. He has a job. He is married to another woman who he says he is only married to her for her to have Green Card Status. He is 31 years old. He is in Marketing and a Bartender.
He has olive tan skin. He is 5’6” and 220 pounds. He has Brown eyes with black straight hair.
Initially, he stated that he was in agreement with the adoption plan. We had an appointment set for him to sign the Florida consent documents however, he canceled last minute saying his mother told him not to sign and that she wanted to parent the child.
EM is adamantly against his mother or him raising the child. We are serving him this week pursuant to Florida law. Upon service, he will have 30 days to do the following:
(1) File with the Florida Putative Father Registry
(2) Start Paying Abiding Love Adoption Agency child support which has been set for $850/month
(3) File with the Court a Parenting Plan and Custody Action. If he does not do all 3 of these within 30 days of being served, he cannot contest the adoption. His mother has no legal standing to contest the adoption. He is a PUTATIVE Father and not a Legal Father.
He currently has a 4-year-old son he sometimes pays child support for. His driver’s license
was suspended for a while for non-payment.
